IVY is inventory, Point-Of-Sale and electronic cataloging software for the
replacement auto parts and auto repair business IVY includes part number
cross-reference, application cataloging engine, user configurable Part-Finder
and Model-Finder menus, point-of-sale invoice printing, automatic inventory
adjustment, re-order report, Quote Notes screen, customer file, complete
sales history file, inventory editing spread-sheet screen, payables file.
Look up items by part number, by cross-reference number, by catalog
application, by description, by vendor product line, by make and model, or
by any phrase or string found in the record or catalog file such as
casting #, stamping #, etc. The Part-Finder menu comes with over 600 part
types and descriptions and the Model-Finder menu contains over 400 makes
and models of vehicles. This complete inventory/POS package includes PO
program for writing Purchase Orders and automatically restocking those POs.
Also has the customer pricing matrix where special customers can be given
different price breaks for different product lines or vendors. IVY can also
handle on-going job tickets (invoices) for automotive or other job shops
where items from inventory are assigned to specific on-going jobs. Up to
96 items per Job invoice; these items may be inventory parts/supplies, shop
labor, or parts & services purchased outside. Reconciles on-hand and
dedicated job inventory.
IVY Customer Web Site
Your IVY inventory data will be uploaded to your own web site which will be
provided by Rossknecht Software. Your IVY inventory data and pictures will be
uploaded automatically every night to your web site. Internet users will be
able to browse to your web site and look up items in your inventory by
make-model-year or by part number.

Auto Repair Shop Software
IVY can be used by auto repair shops that have a significant inventory of
new or used parts or that need the capability to make a longer on-going
job ticket (invoice). Shop labor, outside services, parts, towing, and
storage may all be added to the 96 item IVY job tickets. An IVY invoice
can also be started as an Estimate and later converted to a Job ticket.
IVY External Product Catalog Integration
Part suppliers or application data publishers may offer aftermarket auto
parts catalogs on CD or in a separate Windows program. Some of these
external catalogs can be read by the IVY software and then looked up
automatically in the IVY database. Please inquire as to whether your
catalog can be integrated and note that there is an extra charge for
setup and configuration for each catalog.

SYFILE Parts Inventory Only.....................$475
SYFILE is for operations that do not need point-of-sale invoice printing
or sales tracking. It includes Part-Finder and Model-Finder menus,
inventory editor, report printing menu, and string searches for
application data. Print parts lists, inventory bar code¹ tags, and catalog
pages of parts for sale. There are fields for part location, vendor,
application notes. SYFILE can be used for any parts inventory where no
sales history or customer file is needed. Having the basic SYFILE inventory,
you can later upgrade to one of the other Rossknecht Software programs- IVY,
UCARS or the Salvage Yard system with no data conversion needed.
