Vehicle salvage yard management system for Windows™ PCs. Computer
inventory and sales history of vehicles and parts for Salvage Yards.
Easy to use Part-Finder and Vehicle-Finder menu interface. Automatically
shows which parts have been sold from chosen vehicle. Look up parts by
vehicle application, part type, or part number. Vehicle inventory links
to part inventory to track sold parts. Part inventory can include
pulled parts, parts on vehicle, as well as new parts such as radiators and
windshields. The SY salvage yard software system also handles the sale of parts
which were not inventoried as well as towing & storage charges. Used car
sales program UCARS can be added for yards that sell used cars or for truck
salvage wreck rebuilders. Automatic inventory adjustment and sales history.

Scrap Purchase Feature
The SY system has a special invoice screen for auto recyclers scrap purchase
which is not limited to vehicle scrap but can include all categories of
recyclables including copper, aluminum, brass, zinc, etc. When the weight
is entered, the amount is calculated and a check can be printed
automatically.

Parts Inventory only
SYFILE Parts Inventory Only.....................$395
SYFILE is for operations that do not need point-of-sale invoice printing
or sales tracking. It includes Part-Finder and Model-Finder menus,
inventory editor, report printing menu, and string searches for
application data. Print parts lists, inventory bar code tags¹, and catalog
pages of parts for sale. There are fields for part location, vendor,
application notes. SYFILE can be used for any parts inventory where no
sales history or customer file is needed. Having the basic SYFILE inventory,
you can later upgrade to one of the other Rossknecht Software programs- IVY,
UCARS or the Salvage Yard software system with no data conversion needed.
